About me
Lena Payton Webb is a dynamic, multi-award-winning publisher, business leader, and Army veteran with over 30 years of experience in graphic design, digital artistry, and therapeutic art coaching. As the founder of Blu Impressions Publishing and LitCon, a nonprofit dedicated to supporting authors, Lena has built a thriving career dedicated to helping individuals and businesses share their stories through impactful, professional-quality books and creative works. Her expertise in transforming ideas into market-ready products has made her a prominent figure in the self-publishing industry, earning her recognition from major media outlets such as CBS News, Fox News, NBC News, and Disrupt Weekly.
Lena’s career began in the field of graphic design and digital artistry, where she honed her skills in visual storytelling. This creative foundation has allowed her to bring a unique approach to publishing, one that emphasizes the importance of aesthetic quality and brand alignment in every project. Over the years, she has worked with thousands of clients, from individual authors to corporations, helping them create self-help books, workbooks, journals, and custom coloring books that not only tell a story but also elevate their personal and professional brands.
At the heart of Lena’s work is Blu Impressions Publishing, a full-service publishing company that provides end-to-end support for authors, coaches, consultants, and businesses. Lena believes that everyone has a story to tell, and her mission is to ensure that those stories are told with the highest level of professionalism and impact. Whether guiding a first-time author through the writing process or helping a business create a custom-branded journal, Lena and her team focus on delivering results that resonate with audiences and strengthen the client’s brand identity.
What sets Blu Impressions Publishing apart is Lena’s commitment to her clients’ long-term success. She not only helps them publish their work but also teaches them how to use their books as tools for business growth and additional income streams. This results-driven approach has earned her a loyal client base and a strong reputation as a publisher who goes beyond just delivering a finished product.
Lena’s passion for storytelling extends beyond her own business ventures. In 2019, she founded LitCon, a nonprofit organization that brings together authors, aspiring writers, and industry professionals through literary symposiums, author expos, and workshops. LitCon has hosted events at prestigious institutions such as Florida A&M University (FAMU), Georgia Tech, and Bishop State College, providing invaluable opportunities for authors to connect, grow, and share their work.
Through LitCon, Lena has created a supportive and collaborative community where authors from all walks of life can learn from one another, develop their skills, and gain the exposure needed to succeed in the publishing world. This initiative reflects her belief that storytelling has the power to inspire change and create legacies that endure for generations.
Lena’s professional accomplishments are deeply rooted in her personal journey of resilience. After being diagnosed with leukemia, Lena lost her vision and was declared legally blind for nearly four years. Despite this life-altering challenge, she persevered, regaining her sight and discovering a new sense of purpose. This period of adversity not only shaped her outlook on life but also fueled her mission to help others share their stories and create meaningful legacies.
Today, Lena uses her platform as an international speaker to inspire others with her story of overcoming adversity. She speaks about the power of resilience and how individuals can transform their pain into purpose, guiding them to move from “Pages to Profits.” Her message resonates with audiences around the world, particularly those who seek to turn their experiences into opportunities for growth and empowerment.
Lena Payton Webb’s vision for the future is to continue building a global movement where creativity, words, and art become tools for economic empowerment and lasting legacies. Through Blu Impressions Publishing and LitCon, she remains dedicated to empowering individuals and businesses to share their stories in impactful ways. Lena’s commitment to helping others create meaningful works, combined with her own personal resilience, positions her as a powerful force in the publishing industry and beyond. Whether through publishing, public speaking, or nonprofit initiatives, Lena Payton Webb is focused on leaving a legacy that inspires future generations to find their voice and make a lasting impact on the world.
